Lately, it seems that Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. can’t stay out of the media, even though he has retreated and is supposed to be on medical leave to treat an alleged condition of severe depression. The congressman, who is being investigated for ethics violations, is now the talk of the town because of his bar-hopping.
Jackson was seen at Bier Baron Tavern, a Washington D.C. bar, not once, but twice, this past week. The issue with the congressman being seen at a bar is that he has been on an extended leave of absence for months, so it brings up the question of how he can be well enough to be out at a bar if he is not well enough to be at work. The other issue is that the congressman was seen with a different woman each night.
Speaking to Gawker, a source said,
“They were laughing and very focused on each other. Not sure when they left but I saw them there around 10:30 p.m. They didn’t appear intoxicated or loud, but were definitely enjoying themselves.”
Normally, a man who is seen at a bar with a woman does not really turn heads, but if that man is a married man, then heads start to turn and even more heads turn when that man is a public figure who has been reported to have had an extramarital affair. Jackson Jr., is that man who was was accused of marital infidelity in the past, so a lot of heads turned.
In 2010, the congressman allegedly had an extramarital affair with Giovanna Huidobro, who it was later revealed was restaurant greeter and model in D.C. The congressman never directly denied the allegations and instead, said,
“The reference to a social acquaintance is a personal and private matter between me and my wife that was handled some time ago.”
Jackson Jr.’s is still on medical leave and his spokesman, Frank Watkins, explained that he is “under a doctor’s care for bipolar disorder.”

I suffer from a severe depression and PTSD. Please do not judge this man at this point. If you have every taken depression medications, you will know that they can cause you to behave erratically. I am not saying that this is the case but I know that some of the medications that I have taken have caused me to become extremely suicidal.
Some of these medications make you feel a sense of euphoria and thus you begin to party like a wild person because you cannot help but to feel sooooo good.
However, someone needs to grab his behind and bring him back to reality…. Especially because he is on sick leave a public figure.
I am an employee of the Postal Service. I was the first woman supervisor in a post office and a male co-worker threatened to kill me. The great USPS did nothing about it and I was diagnosed with depression and PTSD. I was clueless as to what these meds will do to you.
I am no long clueless since the PTSD has reactivated (thank you USPS)and have had to fight for workers comp (which I still do not have) while my perpetrator has been collecting workers comp for his actions since his death threat on my life.
I said then and now, this will never end until I die. I have went through numerous medication changes to no avail. I just want to jump from a cliff at this point because obviously crime wins and victims pay.
Please do not judge Mr. Jackson by his actions at this moment. The medications may be making him crazy.
Now, if he is abusing the system, someone jerk him back to reality quickly.
Suggest his BiPolar disorder consists of “Am I married or single,” “Sober or Drinking” and “Going to Work or to a Bar.” Maybe kicking his BiPolar Self out of office will finally put him on the straight & narrow…
Like father like son. He’s a chip off the old block.
I have never thought much of their family. I have seen him and his father work their chicanery on a number of people
