Mitt Romney Was Pronounced Dead During a Car Accident in 1968
Mitt Romney doesn’t exactly advertise the fact that he is a Mormon. Actually, he avoids speaking about his Mormon faith as much as possible. But in a country where the separation of church and state is not taken all that seriously, you knew that Mitt was going to have to speak on the issue at some point in the presidential campaign.
Romney spoke to CNN about his faith as part of a documentary. The film is titled “Romney Revealed: Family, Faith and the Road to Power.” In the film, the Republican candidate talks about working as a missionary for the Mormon Church of Latter Day Saints during a trip to France. His goal was to convert as many French people as possible to the Mormon faith.
Romney spent up to 50 hours per week in the street working to get people to convert. He did it all in French and said that he was rejected quite often but continued to persevere.
“When you’re off in a foreign place and you only take to your parents once or twice a year by phone — that’s all that’s allowed — and you’re out speaking to people day in and day out about your faith and your religion and differences between your faith and other faiths… you say, ‘OK, what’s important here? What do I believe? What’s truth? Is there a God? Is Jesus Christ the son of God?’” he said.
Romney speaks even more deeply about how his experience as a missionary helped him to understand his relationship with God.
“And these things drew me closer to the eternal and convinced me that in fact there is a God. Jesus Christ is the son of God and my savior, and these are things that continue to be important in my life, of course,” he said.
During the trip, Romney was seriously injured in a car accident. He was riding with the mission president and his wife to the South of France and the car was hit by a drunk driver. The mission president’s wife lost her life and Romney was also pronounced dead at the scene.
“The policeman on the scene apparently thought I was in worse condition than I was and wrote, in French, ‘He is dead’ on my passport to distinguish me from others,” Romney said.
Romney’s wife Ann also said that she got a call telling her that her husband was dead. His parents got the same call too. Romney also said that, years later, his wife being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis was a trying time for his family. Say what you want about the policies of Mitt Romney, but he’s overcome a great deal to get here.

That’s all I need to know about Romney. Christian charity will keep him in line and make him look out for ALL the people. Any man with a STRONG faith in God is preferred to a wishy washy flam sham, who abandons his pastor rev wright, his church home, and the people who made him.
Edna I respect your comments but I will have to disagree with your comment about his “STRONG” faith keeping him in line. If you look at history then you can tell the just because someone professes to have strong faith does not mean that will keep him inline and look out for all people. President Bush spoke about his faith numerous of times but he did not look out for all people. Romney is no different. If you look at his history as the CEO of his company, than you can see that he was not looking out for all people but looking at the bottom line of money. President Obama had to distant his self from Rev. Wright because of the comments he made. Just like people had to distant themselves from Todd Akin and the comments he made.
There is more here than meets the eye. Just as Sarah Palin was not fully “veted” and subsequently we found she was indeed a television actor diguised as a Govenor/VP Republican candidate. Even more concerning was that,as a mother,she was unaware of her teen daughters’ pregnancy! It’s not very different from discovering Mitt Romney has as many undiscovered “secrets”. Although Mitt has been “veted” (cleared by investigation)for the Republican Presidential Candidate, there’re still many concerning issues. Just way too many unknowns lurking in his/ancestors life. His religion is a closed door practice. It’s a fact only Mormons are allowed to participate in worship (if only certain worship practices). Being that there are very few,if any, “primary” American, religions that are ‘closed’ to non-like believers and there’s never been a non Judeo Christian believing President and I can’t believe the “Christian Republican-Right” are so set on removing President Obama that they would turn this great country over to a MYSTERY MAN. If Pres. Barack Obama (a Bible believing/Jesus Christ Son of God believing-Christian) had to distance himself from his pastor (Jeremiah Wright)as being too radical – then where does the Mormon church founder “Joseph Smith” measure in comprable radical terms. Racism/classism has to be the only reason Romneys’ Morman faith is acceptable enough to allow Mitt Romney to be their chosen Republican candidate for United States President. Yes, America brags about “freedom of religion” but I guess that’s only for Republicans! Beware, maybe the Hurrican ‘Isaac’ that is disrupting the RNC is because Mitts Mormon, like Haiti/New Orleans and their “Voo-Doo punishment”.

The basic tenets of which is that the reason Black people exist is because we are cursed with Black skin. In the intergalactic War between White Jesus and his brother Satan. Black people refused to fight for Jesus so we were born with Black skin. This is the whole basis for Mormonism and it’s ideology of White Supremacy. Those of us who are older than 12, remember the lunatic prophet Jim Jones and the Jonestown massacre. That fool was a Mormon who was kicked out of the Mormon church. He wasn’t kicked out for bribing local government officials with drugs, money and hookers. He wasn’t kicked out because he raped children including his own son. He wasn’t kicked out because he was a coke head meglomaniac. He was kicked out when he allowed Black people into his congregation in all levels. The reason why Mormons changed their policy in 1978 after over a century of not allowing Black people to hold positions of authority in their church was because of the publicity of the Jonestown Massacre. As for Romney and this whole fairy-tale of him going to France for missionary work. What a load of bullshit. This fool was in his prime age to go to Veitnam and instead of doing his duty like my Dad and many other men who didn’t support the War but went anyway. Edna – These people are RIGHT. It’s apparent that you know nothing about the history of Mormonism. Please go to Wikipedia….and look up the history of Mormonism. In their founding history is the fact that they had multiple wives AND the fact that African Americans were not allowed in their doors. I briefly visited a local Mormon church. They all wear smiles and are very friendly. They will also send someone to your house once a week to observe that you are following their dietary restrictions. They DO NOT allow for the drinking of coffee or tea. If you ask why you are told that caffeine is bad for a person. Sit in the church and watch them guzzle diet coke and pepsi like it’s going out of style. Ask them what the difference is in the caffeine and they will tell you it’s because it’s brewed with HEAT….But Wikipedia on the history of Mormonism will show you clearly that Mormons in their history practiced ethnic discrimination. Further, if they have an unwed mother in their congregation and there is no available man to marry – the mother is encouraged to give their baby up for adoption to a couple in the church because God wants a child to be raised by a mother and a father. There’s an article out on the Internet that shows that Romney did just THAT to one of his congregants. The result? The woman refused to put her child up for adoption and all aid to her was cut off and she was asked to leave the church. Attacking something one doesn’t understand IS wrong – but defending something that isn’t understood is equally incorrect. Please do your research and find out more about this snake-charmer. The base nature of man is evil. Men are born predators like lions, etc. The only thing that civilizes man is religion. Religion is the most important thing to set moral standards, and allows people to live in harmony by obeying the 10 commandments. Without religion we’d all be as wild as the next predatory animal. There is a lot of evidence showing that Mitt Romney caused this crash. The Catholic Priest was not drunk. He had slowed or was stopped waiting to make a left turn. Romney, driving an overloaded Citroen, chose to accelerate to pass a truck, swerved into what he thought was an open lane and hit the priest’s car. They’ve been slandering the Catholic Priest ever since and even used it as a story to encourage the missionaries how bad Catholics were. The problem with Mitt’s lie this time, is the priest is still alive to tell his story. Guess he should have confirmed the man was dead before going forward with this particular lie.
