Juan Williams Calls Ann Romney ‘a corporate wife’ then Disappears
Juan Williams ruffled some feathers among his colleagues on Tuesday night because of how he referred to Mitt Romey’s wife, Ann, saying she is “like a corporate wife” who hasn’t faced any struggles at all, in her life.
Talking on a panel, after the Republican National Convention’s speakers had all given their speeches for the night, the Fox News contributor said,
“Mitt Romney’s wife, Ann Romney, on the other hand looked to me like a corporate wife. And you know the stories she told about struggle, eh, it’s hard for me to believe. She’s a very rich woman and I know that and America knows that.
Seemingly taken aback, Fox News host, Bret Baier, said, “Wow, OK!”
Fox News hosts, Megyn Kelly, asked Williams for clarification saying, “What does that mean, corporate wife?”
Williams stuck to his statement about the aspiring FLOTUS saying,
“What does it mean. It looks like a woman whose husband takes care of her and she’s been very lucky and blessed in this life. She’s not speaking, I think, for the tremendous number of single women in this country, or married women or separated — actually she did not convince me that you know what, ‘I understand the struggles of American women in general.’”
“Is that the same speech you heard, Brit?” Baier inquired of Fox News commentator, Brit Hume.
“Uh no. I think that was the single most effective political speech I’ve ever heard given by a political wife,” Hume said.
When the panel came back, Williams was missing and Peggy Noonan, Wall Street Journal columnist and former presidential speechwriter , had taken his place.
Unable to ignore the elephant in the room, Baier clarified why Williams was no longer on the panel saying,
“I want to point out that we did not kick Juan off the panel because of the corporate wife comment; we wanted to get a speechwriter’s perspective.
Kelly jumped in by jokingly adding, .
“Although we considered it!”
As the show came to an end, Kelly, revisited Williams remark saying,
“My final thought is, [Ann Romney] may have improved Mitt Romney’s standing with women. You know whose standing did not improve with women tonight?…Juan Williams”
The two laughed and Baier assured everyone, still referring to Williams,
“He’ll be back tomorrow!
Just to make sure everyone understood there were no hard feelings, Kelly added,
“We love Juan.”

The panels clear repudiation with Juan’s remarks was evident and they fought like h**l to distance themselves from it, incase the wrath of Mitt touch them. So spineless of them as a lot…

You have just stated what is the duty of any Black person in the GOP. You can have opnion but only the one you are given. So Juan finally grew a pair and decided to be his own man.

I totally agree with Mr. Juan Williams and his honesty, she never not once used the word WE in her speech, she used you, I and others word, but never WE, and this shows he disconnect with women, no ever called her out on the you people comment she made in one of her interviews,she is also racist,Fox news fail to display honesty and ethic in there news coverage, not to mention freedom of opinion it’s very obivious that this lady Ann Romney doesn’t have a clue and is so dis connected with what every day women. having a maid, nannys and other help is not raising her boy or a family as she like to think, her help raised her boys… I think I will stop watching Fox news channel and ask all my friends to stop watching Fox too, Fox is keep us dumm

I’m not surprised about FOX New’s’ response to Juan Williams’ remarks. Everything about FOX is an effort to conceal the outrageous discrepancies and pretenses of Romney’s campaign propaganda.
It’s all a big charade to pretend that Romney ( and especially Ann Romney) understands the plight of the poor and middle class, and that the Republican Party’s platform is in the best interests of that mass racist chorus of white poor and middle class people who blindly support them. These supporters are so blinded by racism and their unmerited fears of being disenfranchised by immigrants and minorities that they can’t see the forest for the trees. They are going to be shocked beyond recognition when Romney’s wealthy platform overtakes all their support systems, then subsidize this by giving even more tax breaks to the rich. I guess it will be poetic justice though.
Juan Williams comments were just a drop in the bucket of the awareness that Romney’s blind supporters desperaely need to heed.

I applaud his comment hardly none of these governers ,senators and their wifes ever had to struggle, I mean they have to tell us lies to make us think they been through hard times an we no darn well they haven’t . Mainstream media has no credibility whether it’s the laughable Fox news or MSNBC. Months earlier MSNBC was tripping over themselves apologizing for pointing out that the fact Mitt Romeny was using a phrase popularized by the Ku Klux Klan “Keep America America”. Seeing the despicable reputation the republican party has with blacks it was a legitimate news story. They even had Al Sharpton apologizing to Romney.
As far as Juan Williams is concern I’m sure during the commercial break they took him out back to the wood shed and reminded him why he was hired. I guess old Juan boy didn’t read the fine print in his multimillion dollar contract that stated he’s just suppose to criticize blacks NOT whites.

Well, Well, Juan told the truth and gets thrown off the show. But that’s what he gets, trying to kiss up behind the Fox folks. They don’t care nothing about his Black kiss up a– either. Darlene-I agree, that there’s a big difference when you’re richer than God as far as the quality and amount of healthcare you get. People keep accusing the media of being “in the tank” for President Obama, but I don’t see them asking the tough questions about what Mitt really believes, like on healthcare and the conflict in Afghanistan. I’d like to point out, that Romney still hasn’t visited the troops there, and the Republicans made a big issue about this against Obama over four years ago. It backfired on them when he did visit, and sank a three-pointer in the gym with the troops.

Every community in this country and around the world have issues. African American Women are hard working and so are the men. Unfortunately in this country as today African American Men are unemployed at a 50% rate, now why is that?
There are many hard worwking Black Men and Women. Less take the African American Community out of Sports, College, Pros, Olympics, out of our Schools, teachers, Administrators, Principals, Executives positions in this country, in every aspect of America then what do you have?

African Americans in the Republican party (and those working for FOX News and CNN) are only allowed to say what their masters have approved for them to say. If you don’t then you get “blacked” out.
Poor Juan. He missed the memo about heaping praise on Ann Romney, and trying the portray her as Mother Theresa. The fact is, the Ann Romney has never had a job in her life, and has never even filled out a job application. I doubt if she’s ever even paid a bill, or even taxes, except sales taxes. She tried to set us up about a month ago for a medical deduction loophole, by saying the “dressage” was her therapy for multiple sclerosis. The fact is, that Mitt’s dancing horses have better health insurance, than the kind he and the Teapublican party would deny to American citizens.
Prediction-Juan Williams and several others will be let go sometime around November 10th in a shakeup at Fixed News. Since Ruppert Murdock would have failed at trying to influence American politics, he won’t need people like Juan anymore.
